BPM Provided technical verification on and review to ensure the extension met the minimum stability requirements outlined in ANCOLD. Timing was critical in order to meet board approval and the IPR was completed within a week.
Key elements of the review included evaluation of:
- The level of project development and implementation planning to support the investment
- The appropriateness of any technical assurance process
- The appropriateness of the proposed Contracting Strategy, contracts/work packages, market engagement, tender process and evaluation and RTA
- The Capital Cost Estimate, including contingency estimates
- The Implementation Schedule
- Documentation of any material risks and appropriateness of risk mitigation plans.
Outcome
IPR outcome led Client to request BPM Projects to provide further support to the project for the implementation of IPR recommendations.
