Wharf to Terminal Pipeline – Fuel Supply
BPM Projects designed a 1.8 km DN200 pipeline from an international wharf to major terminal located in Papua New Guinea (PNG). BPM in accordance with AS 2885 including corrosion control and tie-ins to existing infrastructure.
The new pipeline asset will provide our client with security of supply and product quality assurance by not sharing the asset with operators. The design was optimised to avoid existing infrastructure for prevention of damage from construction.
BPM effectively managed the interfaces between multiple government entities at both national and regional levels. Our proactive stakeholder engagement facilitated coordination of the required statutory approvals, including the Environmental Permit and Pipeline Operating License.
BPM provided support for survey, including topographic cadastral, geotechnical and underground services.

- Materials Specifications and MTO’s
- Construction Works Scope and Specifications
- Detailed Drawings
- Safety Management Study (AS 2885, Part 6)
- Corrosion Protection Design
Outcome
BPM produced a full set of Approved for Construction (AFC) engineering documents completed to support award of construction contract.
