Hazardous Facility Support

BPM was engaged as Owner’s Engineer to provide independent engineering oversight and ensure technical integrity of repurposing two existing hazardous storage tanks for service. Another key role as Owner’s Engineer was managing different stakeholders from different contractor organisations within critical timelines, whilst ensuring the work which was delivered complied to Industry standards and BPM’s quality requirements.

BPM Projects provided the following technical assurance as part of the OES role:

  • Design verification review to confirm the level of completeness and compliance to designated engineering standards and specifications.
  • Interface Management
  • Documentation and Technical Assurance
  • Support to Project Management
  • Document Control & Management – Implementation of BPM’s documentation management verification system for management of all key documents between stakeholders.

Outcome

BPM expedited the completion of deliverables supplied by others on the critical path.

Strong integration with the Client team to ensure that project objectives were realised within the required timeframe and under budget.

Establishment of a central Document Control system with all stakeholders based on BPM’s own Quality Management System and processes. This enabled effective management and control of deliverables from various stakeholders and brought everyone into BPM’s mature systems and processes.
